Who's Watching Me - Support

Snooper definitions not compatible
October 10, 2002 - Some registered users that use the "Tools / Check for Updates" menu item to update Who's Watching Me may see the following message after Who's Watching Me updates itself:

"Snooper definitions not compatible with this version of Who's Watching Me. This version of Who's Watching Me will run with Snooper definitions (profiles.cfg) revision 6. Your Snooper definitions file is revision 5."

To correct this problem, simply perform another automatic update by using the "Tools / Check for Updates" menu item. Who's Watching Me will then download the new snooper definitions file.
The new version of Who's Watching Me released to registered users on Oct. 10, 2002 adds the significant new feature of disk searching. Because of this enhancement, Trapware had to change the revision number for the snooper definitions to avoid incompatibility problems with older versions.

MSVCP60.DLL Could Not Be Found
It appears that Windows platforms from 1998 or earlier that have not had service packs applied may not have the MSVCP60.DLL library which is required by Who's Watching Me to run. If a system does not have MSVCP60.DLL, Windows will display an error dialog box, similar to the error dialog box shown below:
To solve this problem, you may download the MSVCP60.DLL file by clicking on the following link: http://www.trapware.com/Downloads/msvcp60.dll . Save the MSVCP60.DLL file to the Who's Watching Me directory so that the MSVCP60.DLL file is located in the same directory as the Who's Watching Me program. Typically the Who's Watching Me program is saved in the "Program Files\Trapware Corporation\Who's Watching Me" directory by default.
Do not delete, copy over or move any other files on your system in trying to solve this problem. Moving, damaging or deleting needed files can damage the operating system and make your computer unusable until the operating system is reloaded.
GetLongPathNameA could not be located in KERNEL32.DLL

An update of Who's Watching Me released in June 2002 (Version 1.3 - Build 6 compiled on 6/8/2002) encounters an error on the Windows NT Operating System. The error dialog box states "The procedure entry point GetLongPathNameA could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.DLL". A screenshot of the error dialog box is shown below. This error only occurs on Windows NT and only with the version that was released with the above version information (Version 1.3 - Build 6 compiled on 6/8/2002).

A subsequent release of Who's Watching Me fixes the problem ( Who's Watching Me, Version 1.3, Build 26 compiled on 7/23/02). If you do have the version with the problem on NT, (1) uninstall Who's Watching Me, (2) download the latest Who's Watching Me from Trapware, (3) install this latest version and (4) perform an update. You will get the latest Who's Watching Me that corrects the problem.
